Kansas Arts Commissioner, Governor appointed 3 year position to represent the State of Kansas.
Oversee the budget, its distribution and spending of funding al ocated to the arts for the State of Kansas.
School-To-Career Coordinator, Wichita High School South, Wichita, Kansas 1997-98
Duties to include: Coordinate all School-To-Career Activities, cluster development, and meetings.
Research STC development and Tech Prep programs. Build contacts with business and industries;
develop work based educational opportunities for students. Maintain contact with STC district

Development of Special Events:
City Development Symposium, Fall 1996 Contributors to city development of Wichita held lectures and hands-on interactive workshops for
students to experience City Development implementation processes. Contributors included the Cultural
Arts Director, Members of the City Manager’s Aesthetic Review Team Advisory Board and private
architects and engineers.
Establish and Develop a Symposium to include various businesses dealing with the Aviation industry,
education, and private sectors. Participants gave lectures and held hands-on workshops to a citywide
audience to create a link between education, business and technology related to aviation. Contributors
included Boeing Company, Cessna, Wichita State University, Wichita Area Technical College, Air National
Guard, Army National Guard, Dillons, and BEST program.
